The Yard: Escape from Prison is an online co-op prison escape game for up to 6 players from Slovak solo developer FrostMelt Games, with a retro, PSX-era first-person look.

Every day behind bars follows a routine. Show up for roll call, finish your chores and keep the guards from getting suspicious, while secretly scavenging materials, crafting tools and mapping out escape routes. Prison jobs like pressing license plates, dishwashing, laundry and tailoring keep suspicion low, earn money and double as prime scavenging spots. Spend your cash in the cafeteria on insider information or a new look for your inmate.

Daily activities build your character's stats. Intelligence and Strength unlock advanced blueprints, better gear and specialized escape routes. Guards patrol restricted areas, and getting caught means solitary confinement and the loss of your contraband.

Work together on a group breakout, or betray your friends at the last moment and escape first. Play solo, in local split-screen or online with up to 6 players and in-game voice chat.
